Banks named a full-time mortgage loan originator

Katie Banks has been named a full-time mortgage loan originator with the Central Kentucky Ag Credit. The Danville native has worked part-time in Ag Credit's Country Mortgage Division at Richmond while completing her college degree.

She will be based in Danville and will provide service in several counties.

Her full-time employment in the country mortgage program represents a promotion for Katie and an expansion of Ag Credit's rural home lending program, according to a news release from the lender.

Katie attended Eastern Kentucky University as a Regent's Scholar, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in agriculture business. Katie was a member of Delta Tau Alpha academic honorary society, the EKU Ag Ambassadors and was president of the University Ag Club for two years.
